Gulf Bank Distributes Iftar Meals at Souq Al-Mubarakiya as Part of Its Ramadan Program

As part of its Ramadan Program, “Our Traditions Bring Us Together,” Gulf Bank distributed Iftar meals at Souq Al-Mubarakiya to those in need. The Bank will be distributing Iftar meals across various areas in Kuwait over a period of 20 days. This effort was made possible through a strategic partnership with the Kuwait Food Bank and the dedicated participation of Gulf Bank’s volunteer team, Sawa’ed Al-Khaleej.
On this occasion, Mrs. Najla Aleisa, Chief Marketing Officer at Gulf Bank, stated: "At Gulf Bank, we are proud to be an active part of our community, celebrating meaningful moments and supporting those in need, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative reflects our deep commitment to fostering social sustainability, both within the Bank and throughout the wider community."
Mrs. Aleisa expressed her appreciation for the Kuwait Food Bank’s ongoing efforts in providing and distributing meals to those in need. She also praised the longstanding partnership between Gulf Bank and the Kuwait Food Bank, now in its eighth consecutive year, highlighting its vital role in promoting sustainability within the community. "We look forward to continuing our collaboration on impactful charitable initiatives that promote social sustainability," she added.
She further emphasized that for 64 years, Gulf Bank has played an essential role in Kuwait’s economic and social development, continuously leveraging its resources to support those in need. Mrs. Aleisa stated, "We understand the significant impact these initiatives have, especially during Ramadan."
Mrs. Aleisa reaffirmed Gulf Bank’s strong commitment to sustainability, particularly social sustainability, through carefully curated initiatives that benefit both the Bank and the wider community. These efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Kuwait Vision 2035.
