Gulf Bank Concludes Successful Participation and Platinum Sponsorship at ENCON 4 Forum

Gulf Bank has successfully concluded its participation and platinum sponsorship of the Major States Development Projects Forum “ENCON 4”, held under the patronage of Dr. Noura Muhammad Khaled Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs.
The forum was organized by the Union of Kuwaiti Engineering Offices and Consultant Houses, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, and the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, under the theme "Transparency, Achievement, and Sustainability: Principles of the New Era."
During the forum's final panel discussion, titled "Future Aspirations and Financing Opportunities," Mr. Faisal Al-Adasani, General Manager of Corporate Banking at Gulf Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting Kuwait’s developmental projects in line with the new era’s principles of transparency, achievement, and sustainability.
Al-Adasani noted that since its establishment 64 years ago, Gulf Bank has been a key player in Kuwait's urban and economic development, contributing to the financing of numerous major projects either through direct funding or in partnership with other banks. The bank has financed various initiatives supporting Kuwait’s Vision 2035 across multiple sectors, particularly in oil, construction, and infrastructure.
He emphasized that the Kuwaiti banking sector, led by Gulf Bank, is ready to assist the government in launching these projects. They will utilize the sector's considerable capabilities to ensure adequate liquidity for financing. These projects are crucial for the country and its citizens, aligning with Kuwait's vision to diversify income sources.
Al-Adasani highlighted that the forum provided an excellent opportunity to showcase several major development projects, including the new Kuwait airport, Al-Zour power stations 1 and 2, the Northern Region, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port, and the Shagaya renewable energy project. He also confirmed Gulf Bank's commitment to providing necessary financing for these projects through diverse funding methods and plans tailored to meet the needs of the upcoming phase, addressing the requirements of both local and foreign investors.
Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that Engineer Eid Al-Rashidi, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works and sponsor representative of the forum, visited Gulf Bank's booth at the exhibition. He expressed his appreciation for the bank's exceptional participation in the forum.
