As part of its various community events and initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, Gulf Bank distributed food baskets "Machlat Ramadan" to needy families, as part of its strategic partnership with Kuwait Food and Relief Bank, for the sixth consecutive year.

On this occasion, Corporate Communications Officer at Gulf Bank, AbdulMohsen Al-Nassar, said: “As usual, Gulf Bank is eager to organize many events and initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan annually, which reflects its distinguished role in social responsibility and its pioneering role in instilling the principles of sustainability in society."

Al-Nassar mentioned that distributing the food baskets to needy families contributes to alleviating some of the burdens for those families during this time of the year; and that the baskets distributed contain different types of food that would suffice those families for several days.

he added: "We are pleased to collaborate with the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank in supporting needy families who face difficult circumstances. Through this partnership, we were able to distribute both Iftar meals and food baskets to those families.

he further indicated that this initiative is one of Gulf Bank’s charitable events during the holy month of Ramadan, which reflects the Bank's involvement with the community over the last sixty years, and its integral part in Kuwait's economic and social history.
