As Part of The Bank’s Continuous Efforts to Support the Youth

As part of its continuous efforts to support the youth and aligning with the principles of social sustainability, Gulf Bank concluded its sponsorship of the second edition of Kuwait Track Challenge two-day event, that was held in Kuwait Motor City on the 10th and 11th of March 2023.

The race included three categories for individual contestants, who were classified based on their tires’ width, in addition to a special category for teams of three – which include one contestant from the individual’s category as part the team. The race had a total of 16 prizes: One prize for the winning team of three, and 15 prizes for five contestants from each of the three individual categories.

On this occasion, Corporate Communications Officer at Gulf Bank, AbdulMohsen Al-Nassar said, “Gulf Bank is pleased to sponsor this year’s Kuwait Track Challenge event, which witnessed more than 40 contestants, who competed fiercely with one another.”

In parallel with the KTC race event, 4x4 car enthusiasts got to enjoy Gulf Bank’s Off-Road Challenge on the same weekend, which simultaneously took place in Bnaider last Friday, 10th of March 2023.

AlNassar added: “For the past two days, we have provided an opportunity for motorsport enthusiasts to practice their beloved sport on specially equipped courses, whilst taking into account all security and safety measures.”

He further indicated that as part of Gulf Bank's continuous efforts to establish the principles of environmental sustainability in society, and as part of its recently launched campaign, reusable bags were distributed at the Bank’s booth in Kuwait Motor City, aiming to reduce plastic bags usage and to raise awareness of the dangers of plastic waste on our environment.
