Gulf Bank Launches GB Fit Ramadan Sport Event at Al Shaheed Park
Set to happen from March 27 to April 1, 2023

As part of its ongoing initiatives to consolidate the principles of social sustainability and following the great turnout for GB Fit at 360 Mall last Ramadan, Gulf Bank is launching the second edition of GB Fit activities this year. The event will feature special sport activities at Al Shaheed Park, in collaboration with Alyasra Wellness, from March 27 to April 1, 2023.
Sport competitions will be held daily through different exercises in Al Shaheed Park, where participants will be equipped with sports equipment and specialized trainers. Participants can register through Technogym’s application or by going directly to Al Shaheed Park.
And based on the Bank’s keenness to communicate with the public and its customers on various occasions, a virtual competition will also be held throughout the holy month of Ramadan on the Technogym’s application. The competition will be based on Technogym's calorie burning and activity metrics.
Aiming to create an exciting atmosphere and encourage healthy competition amongst the participants, six winners will be announced daily, and three winners will be selected from the virtual competitions as well. All winners will receive valuable prizes from Gulf Bank in return for their hard work.
On this occasion, the Assistant Manager of Corporate Communications from Gulf Bank, Fahad Al-Sharrah, said that the activities aim to encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle during the holy month of Ramadan, and to also carry these healthy habits with them throughout the year.
He mentioned that this initiative is part of the many social sustainability initiatives that Gulf Bank organizes and takes part in throughout the year. Through such initiatives, Gulf Bank is able to enhance its communication with the public and maintain its close connection with the community.
