Gulf Bank Launches "Easy Pay Plus" Service Update

Launching an enhanced Easy Pay service that allows credit card holders to pay for high-value purchases in installments with 0% interest

Gulf Bank has announced the launch of "Easy Pay Plus," an updated and enhanced version of the Easy Pay program which now enables Gulf Bank credit card holders to pay for high-value purchases in 12 monthly installments at 0% interest.

All Gulf Bank credit card holders, from all segments, can benefit from this special service, noting that Easy Pay Plus includes local and international purchases, with a minimum value of KD 300. The service applies only to purchases, and customers can contact the Gulf Bank Customer Contact Center to transfer their transaction to Easy Pay Plus.

For example, when a customer buys KD 600 worth of goods from a local or international store, they can transfer thetransaction to Easy Pay Plus through the Customer Contact Center and pay the amount in installments over 12 months at a value of KD 50 per month and a one-time fee of KD 2.

Gulf Bank’s General Manager of Consumer Banking, Mohammed Al-Qattan, stated that Gulf Bank’s new Easy Pay enhancement comes as part of a large package of services provided to customers; noting that the bank is constantly engaging with customers, exploring their needs, and working quickly to meet their requirements.

He also highlighted that Gulf Bank’s services represent a revolutionary leap in the customers’ experience and have achieved multiple milestones throughout 2022. Gulf Bank’s digital developments are part of its ongoing strategy, which aims to consolidate the Bank’s leading position as the Kuwaiti Bank of the Future, by providing customers with the best banking solutions and services.

Al-Qattan confirmed that Gulf Bank hasa robust digital and technological infrastructure that is considered one of the newest and best in the banking sector; making it a prime candidate for the introduction of world-renowned digital services, the most recent one being the introduction of "Apple Pay."

It is worth noting that Gulf Bank credit cardholders can also take advantage of the Gulf Points program, the fastest rewards program in Kuwait, which gives customers points that can be redeemed for flights (without being restricted to a specific airline), hotel accommodations at over 300,000 hotels worldwide, and seasonal and exclusive travel packages. Customers earn more points when spending abroad and reap rewards for every point earned when spending with their credit cards.
