Gulf Bank Launches Brand New Smartphone Application

Offering clients, a revolutionary customer experience and wide variety of services through a simple, fast, and secure interface

As part of its continuous efforts towards completing its digital transformation plans and enhancing customer experience, and within its strategic plan for the year 2025, Gulf Bank has launched a completely new version of its smartphone application, characterized by smart design, ease, and simplicity of use.

The new application represents a revolutionary leap in customer experience, enhancing the Bank’s service across a variety of banking transactions. The new app effectively simplifies the banking experience at Gulf Bank, and is available to everyone, everywhere, and at any time through a simple, fast, and secure interface.

The new application provides multiple unique services, one of which is a pre-login service for payment links which offers customers enhanced convenience and safety. Through the new app, customers can enjoy this service as soon as they download the application and activate their accounts, allowing them to send payment links with the click of a button from the external interface of the app, in addition to being able to send and receive payments within the application.

The application enables Gulf Bank customers to transfer funds all in the same place, and includes services such as adding a new beneficiary, entering the transfer amount in one OTP message, and changing the transfer limit. Transfer limit changes depend on the amount of transfers and cannot exceed KD 20,000 and require 24 hours to activate a new limit. Customers can also increase their transfer limits by calling the Customer Contact Center.

The application provides internal and external transfer services, which are characterized by ease, simplicity, and speed. It is worth noting that Gulf Bank application is one of the few banks that allows customers to transfer funds through credit cards and prepaid cards in addition to direct payments from their accounts.

The application helps customers control their expenses and view their weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, which customers also have the ability to modify. Customers can also obtain or redeem points through the application, a feature that allows customers to reinvest their money on holiday tickets and travel.

It is worth noting that customers can open an account with Gulf Bank in just one minute, enjoying the most user-friendly app interface and benefiting from the latest features that Gulf Bank provides to its customers.

Through the provision of all of these services and more, Gulf Bank is keen to provide a high level of security through four means of protection, including: PIN numbers and patterns, in addition to the security of passwords and face authentication.

Gulf Bank’s feature of opening bank accounts in just under a minute via the Bank’s website or mobile application marks the beginning of a new era of digital banking services for Gulf Bank’s customers, as opening an account with Gulf Bank is now the simplest and fastest account registration process in Kuwait. The feature is available for all types of bank accounts at Gulf Bank, and is available to all customer segments, and both individuals and corporations.

He stated that the new application, in all its unique services, modernization, and service enhancement, has been well-received by various customer segments, all of whom Gulf Bank has considered partners in its development and enhancement of its projects and services.
