As part of its ongoing social sustainability program and in keeping with its ongoing support for Kuwaiti youth both inside and outside of the country, Gulf Bank has announced its strategic partnership with the National Union of Kuwait Students - USA Chapter in sponsoring its 38th annual conference. This year’s conference will take place from November 24-27 in Los Angeles, USA, and will be held under the auspices of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

On this occasion, Gulf Bank’s General Manager of Human Resources, Salma Al-Hajjaj, commented, "Gulf Bank continues to support and sponsor the National Union of Kuwait Students - USA Chapter, as it is the largest organization of Kuwaiti international students, and one of the main sources of support, community, and guidance for students studying abroad."

Al-Hajjaj pointed out that Gulf Bank’s strategic partnership with NUKS is especially significant in light of this year’s conference slogan, “Young people transcend the nation.” As the conference’s strategic banking partner and as one of the most prominent employers in the Kuwaiti private sector, Gulf Bank is planning to conduct interviews with students, introduce students to the various fields of work available at the Bank, and engage attendees with raffles, events and valuable gifts.

Al-Hajjaj expressed her pride in the role that Gulf Bank plays in supporting youth and enhancing their skills through various programs aimed at achieving one of the most important pillars of Gulf Bank's 2025 strategy and Kuwait's 2035 vision: youth empowerment.

She added that NUKS’ annual conference is a unique opportunity as it is one of the largest organizations of Kuwaiti students outside of the country. Gulf Bank is always keen to participate in NUKS events and support local youth’s plans and aspirations.

She pointed out that youth are not only the nation's key to growth and development, but are also the future of Gulf Bank, which seeks to consolidate its leading position as the leading Kuwaiti Bank of the Future. As such, Gulf Bank also strives to maintain its position as the preferred employer of local youth and job seekers.

Al-Hajjaj praised the role of NUKS in taking care of more than 12,000 Kuwaiti students studying abroad in the United States by sponsoring new students and organizing conferences, seminars, and events. NUKS’ activities are designed to connect students to their homeland and provide an opportunity for private sector institutions, led by Gulf Bank, to recruit distinguished national hires.
