Gulf Bank Celebrates the FIFA World Cup's Arrival to the Gulf Arab Region

In honor of Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in November

Gulf Bank has announced a new song honoring Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, an achievement that marks the first time a Gulf Arab country has hosted the global football event.

The song’s lyrics are written by Bashar Al-Shatti and Hadi Khamees, and the song is performed by several famous Kuwaiti, Gulf, and Arab singers, including: Bashar Al-Shatti, Bader Al-Shuaibi, Hadi Khamees and Shahd Al-Amiri. The song is also directed by Ahmed Abdulwahed.

Najla added: “Gulf Bank is pleased to share in our Qatari brothers’ and sisters’ joy in hosting this international football event. Hosting the World Cup is a remarkable feat, as it is an event that attracts football fans from all around the world to our region. We are wishing the tournament organizers the best of luck, and are wishing them the utmost success.”

Gulf Bank launched its Visa FIFA World Cup ™ “Infinite” and “Signature” credit cards in honor of this year’s 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The Bank will be offering 15 customers the opportunity to win exciting packages to attend the largest football event in the world, in addition to allocating an additional “plus one” for each of the winners. In partnership with Visa, Gulf Bank will conduct a virtual draw on October 10 to select the 15 campaign winners.

It is also worth mentioning that Gulf Bank highlighted its latest World Cup activation at The Avenues from September 1-6 as part of its ongoing campaign in collaboration with Visa. During its mall activation, Gulf Bank promoted its new Visa FIFA World Cup ™ “Infinite” and “Signature” Visa credit cards, and offered customers who applied for the new credit cards at the Avenues an exemption from annual fees for two years.
