Gulf Bank Announced Sponsorship of Kuwait University’s Human Investment and Career Opportunities Forum

Kuwait, 06 July 2022: As part of its continuous efforts to empower local youth, and in order to consolidate its role as the most preferred employer in the Kuwaiti financial sector, Gulf Bank is sponsoring the Human Investment and Career Opportunities Forum at Kuwait University, taking place from July 4-7.
As part of their participation in the forum, Gulf Bank representatives shed light on the nature of the workplace at the Bank and provided a detailed explanation of the work mechanisms and job opportunities available for recent graduates. In addition, Gulf Bank representatives conducted personal interviews for the applicants.
Gulf Bank’s pavilion at the forum attracted a large number of male and female students who were interested in getting more information about Gulf Bank’s various departments and work culture, encouraged by the positive reputation that Gulf Bank boasts as one of the most prominent employers of young talent in the local financial sector.
Gulf Bank’s General Manager of Human Resources, Ms. Salma Al-Hajjaj, said: "Gulf Bank's sponsorship of Kuwait University’s Human Investment and Career Opportunities Forum is part of our ongoing economic sustainability program, and falls within the framework of our role in supporting a sustainable economy. We strive to employ, train and upskill young talents, encouraging local youth to join the workforce and become future leaders.”
Al-Hajjaj pointed out that the Bank’s latest sponsorship of the Kuwait University Career Fair falls in line with the Bank’s ongoing efforts to consolidate its position as the leading Kuwaiti Bank of the Future, and falls within the Bank’s strategy for the year 2025. Gulf Bank is keen to attract young talents across various fields, as local youth are the generation that is capable of keeping pace with the latest innovations and the rapid digital development in the banking sector both locally and globally.
Al-Hajjaj affirmed the Bank’s keenness to support the national development plan, “New Kuwait 2035” Vision, which targets employment in the private sector and the development of Kuwaiti youth. In keeping with the national development plan, Gulf Bank has been witnessing increasing growth rates in national employment in recent years.
