Gulf Bank Recognized for Creativity at Kuwait Innovation Awards, with Four Awards Total

Organized by the Arab Media Forum and sponsored by the Ministry of Information and League of Arab States

 

 

  • "AlDanah Taghneek" and "Watani Habibi" campaigns win two awards for Best Director and Best National Work
  • Gulf Bank’s 642 Marathon also recognized as the Best Sustainability Initiative, promoting healthier lifestyles through sport

 

As a testament to its creativity and innovation across various fields, Gulf Bank won four awards in the 9th edition of the Kuwait Innovation Award. This year’s award ceremony was organized by the Arab Media Forum and sponsored by the Ministry of Information and League of Arab States.

 

Gulf Bank’s Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking Services - Marketing Department, Ms. Najla Aleisa, also received the award for the best marketing manager as part of the ceremony that was held in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Munira Al Huwaidi, the Secretary General of the Arab Media Forum, Madi Al-Khamis, and a group of Kuwaiti celebrities and innovators. The award recognized Ms. Aleisa for her and her team’s various efforts in developing their institution through a variety of creative and innovative ideas.

 

The video campaign for “AlDanah Taghneek” won this year’s award for Best Direction, and was performed by renowned local artists Khaled Al Mulla and Marwa Bin Saghir. Gulf Bank’s National Day campaign, “Watani Habibi,” was awarded the Best National Work award, and was produced by Joy Production and All Over for Art Production.

 

Moreover, the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon also won the award for Best Sustainability Initiative, having been recognized for its efforts in promoting health through sport. This year’s marathon was an overwhelming success, having attracted the participation of more than 7,000 people of 93 nationalities.

 

In light of the occasion, Ms. Aleisa expressed her gratitude and joy at witnessing Gulf Bank receive so many awards across multiple categories, and at having personally taken home the award for best marketing manager, a direct reflection of the great strides Gulf Bank is taking to enhance its service and product offering.

 

For his part, the Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications, Ahmad Al Amir, added that the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon’s Best Sustainability Initiative award is a culmination of the Bank’s various sustainability efforts, and is a direct reflection of its distinctive social responsibility program.

 

The Kuwait Innovation Award aims to improve the advertising industry and promote excellence in marketing activities and capabilities in Kuwait by highlighting the most creative business initiatives produced by local institutions.
