Gulf Bank is the first bank in Kuwait to celebrate the National Day holidays with a limited edition prepaid card

Customers can request new prepaid card with limited edition design celebrating our beloved Kuwait

Kuwait, 29 January 2020: In celebration of the upcoming National Day holidays, Gulf Bank has released an exclusive, limited edition prepaid card. The new prepaid card, whose design features the Kuwaiti flag, is available just in time for Kuwait’s National & Liberation Day holidays.

This exclusive Prepaid Card design which can be requested today, will be available while supplies last. Gulf Bank customers can request the new prepaid card through Gulf Bank’s online banking or mobile banking services, or by visiting their nearest branch.

Commenting on the new prepaid card design, Mr. Ahmad Al Amir, Assistant General Manager of Corporate Communications at Gulf Bank, said: “With February just around the corner, we are very excited to announce Gulf Bank’s latest surprise of the year. In celebration of the upcoming national holidays, Gulf Bank has introduced a new and exclusive prepaid card which features a limited edition design highlighting our beloved Kuwaiti flag. Starting this week and while quantities last, the new prepaid card will be available to all Gulf Bank customers. We are delighted to be celebrating our national holiday and are wishing our beloved Kuwait peace and prosperity.”

The limited edition prepaid card is a reloadable card that offers cardholders a variety of exclusive benefits, including being free for the first year and valid for 3 years. Cardholders can also avail instant discounts of up to 20% at over 500 local restaurants and discounts of up to 25% at over 300 retail outlets in Kuwait. As with all Gulf Bank prepaid cards, the new limited edition card is reloadable, and offers users faster payments on service-enabled POS terminals with Gulf Bank Tap & Pay, enhanced security, safety and convenience with EMV chip technology, and global acceptance at more than two million ATMs and 33 million point-of-sale terminals worldwide. The new card is available for both Gulf Bank customers.
