Gulf Bank empowers Kuwaiti youth through the Fikra Program

Kuwait, 8 October 2018: Gulf Bank has announced, for the third consecutive year, its gold sponsorship for the 4th edition of the Fikra Program. Built on the goal to create an innovative and entrepreneurial generation, the program equips the youth in Kuwait with essential business skills and knowledge required to succeed and develop their own businesses ideas. This year’s program was announced during a press conference on the 7 October 2018 at Al Hamra Business Towers.

Mr. Ahmed Al Amir, Assistant General Manager for External Communication, Gulf Bank, said: “There is a great deal of business potential among the youth of Kuwait, so our collaboration with Fikra Program is valuable to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the steps to build their business careers and help turn exciting ideas into realistic business ventures. We are excited to welcome Kuwait’s entrepreneurs to support and guide them through their journey and bring them closer to their business dreams.”

Fikra Program was launched in 2015 as a corporate social responsibility program. It is an intensive entrepreneurship training program open to the country’s youth graduated with any major who can apply individually or in a team. Providing one-to-one mentorship for guidance and support as well as business training through workshops and field trips.

Applications for the Fikra Program can be found online on www.fikraprogram.com and will be accepted until 11 November 2018.
