Gulf Bank Sponsors Kuwait University's Accounting Club's Trip to Switzerland

Kuwait – 28 May 2015: Gulf Bank successfully concluded its sponsorship of Kuwait University's (KU) College of Business Administration's Accounting Club trip to Switzerland – Zurich, which was the first time for the club to organize a trip since being founded in 2004.

The five day workshop took place from 19 May until 23 May 2015, where each day the students were exposed to different sectors in banking. The students attended seminars in prestigious institutions including the SBS Swiss business school, SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd, Cambridge International Business School and the Money Museum where they learnt about the banking sector, securities, and the Swiss financial center.

Earlier this April, Gulf Bank has launched its new red program tailored for youth customers, including monthly cash draws and quarterly car draws. New red customers who open an account and transfer their allowance will be eligible to enter the monthly cash draw for a chance to win up to KD 1,500. The quarterly car draw will be for 1 lucky winner who will have a chance to win a new Camaro LT Coupe or a Cadillac SRX.

In addition to the exciting cash and car prizes, Gulf Bank has also partnered with ZAIN, where red customers are exclusively offered the latest smartphone bundles or internet plans.

Through the bank's red program, customers can also see movies at all Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) cinemas during the weekend (Thursday, Friday and Saturdays) for KD 1.750 instead of the usual KD 3.5, which is a 50% discount on the normal price, making Gulf Bank the only bank in Kuwait presenting customers with this one of a kind offer.

Gulf Bank is committed to providing its red customers with new and exciting promotions that are tailored to meet their specific needs.  The red account is designed for university and college students aged 17 to 24 years old.  Amongst other benefits, account holders receive an ATM card and there is no deposit required to open the account or minimum balance charge.

Gulf Bank will continue to reach out to youth through ongoing programs which provide encouragement and support during their education, and by providing practical, superior services and attractive promotions which are designed specifically for the younger generation.
