Kuwait- 4th March, 2014: Gulf Bank announced the launch of an online trading application which has been specifically designed for customers to trade on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) if they are on the move. The applications are available for Apple's iPhone and iPad, as well as Android users, and can be downloaded starting 9th February 2014.

Gulf Bank identified customers' need to trade while on the move and without going to the Bank's or KSE's online trading websites. Through this latest application, Gulf Bank is offering its customers the opportunity to trade on KSE using their bank balance to buy and sell shares at their convenience. The Bank's team developed the new application to provide its customers with access to the same level of service it promises its branch customers, from anywhere in the world.  Gulf Bank's systems use the most secure and advanced digital technology, so that smartphone banking and online trading is safe, as well as now being easier, more efficient and more convenient.

In addition to the new application, Gulf Bank's mobile phone banking services, which are available in Arabic and English, allow customers to carry out a range of banking transactions without the need for a computer or having to visit any of the Bank's branches. Customers can use their mobile phone or smartphone to check their account details and statements, review their transactions history, request a printed statement, check credit card details and statements, arrange transfers between other Gulf Bank accounts, make local and international transfers, make credit card to account transfers, settle their bills and many other services. The services are easily available through a downloadable application, and work on all the major smartphone platforms, including Android, BlackBerry, iPhone and Nokia.
