Kuwait " August 29, 2011: Gulf Bank in partnership with the Kuwait Blind Association announced today its sponsorship of a Holy Quran in Braille printing initiative.

The Holy Quran Braille printing initiative comes in line with the Bank's Ramadan program and its responsibility towards the community during the Holy month.

Fawzy Al-Thunayan, Gulf Bank's General Manager of Board Affairs said: "Gulf Bank is aware of the importance of reading the Holy Quran especially during the month of Ramadan, and for that reason, the Bank proudly contributed in the Holy Quran Braille printing initiative to support all our brothers and sisters with visual difficulties giving them a chance to read the Holy Quran with blessings of this month."

The month of Ramadan is the best time to strengthen the Bank's commitment towards the prosperity and welfare of our society. At Gulf Bank, we continue seeking new opportunities to contribute to various charitable events and programs in celebration of the Holy month of Ramadan," Al-Thunayan concluded.
