Gulf Bank Launches a Range of Exciting Social Activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan
Kuwait "July 29, 2010: Gulf Bank announced today that it will launch a wide range of exciting activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan, which aims to shed light on the true Ramadan spirit.
This year, Gulf Bank will arrange Iftar banquets for over 2000 needy people as well as sponsoring Iftar meals at mosques around Kuwait. The Bank will be supporting the "Eqra wa Ertaqi" project, an initiative that aims to develop and increase awareness in reading the Holy Quran. The project includes reading competitions as well as classes for people to memorize the Holy Quran. The project also aims at republishing and restoring old Holy Quran books. Additionally, Gulf Bank will be organizing a Ramadan ghabqa for special needs children as well as the Autism Center.
Following its annual hospital visit initiative across Kuwait, Gulf Bank will celebrate the joyful mood of Girgi"an with patients through a planned program of fun filled activities including face painting, hair braiding, henna, as well as an opportunity to meet Gulf Bank's famous Nassour character, and other cartoon characters. The hospital visits include: Ibn Sina, Jahra, Farwaniya, Sheikha Badriyah, Zain, NBK Hospital, Al Razi and Al Amiri. In addition, children with special needs will be further treated with exciting activities at the Al-Kharafi Activity Kids Center.
