Gulf Bank concludes its Sponsorship of INJAZ Kuwait's "Battle of the Best 2010"

Kuwait " July 13, 2010: Gulf Bank has concluded its sponsorship of Injaz Kuwait's "Battle of the Best" competition 2010.  The competition, which was held on July 1st at the Salwa Al Sabah Ballroom, Marina Hotel, involved a number of talented students who showcased their businesses and demonstrated their talents for creativity, team building and innovation.

Gulf Bank, a long-standing supporter of Injaz Kuwait's initiatives, has sponsored the "Battle of the Best" competition for the past four years. In this year's event, the Bank presented a new challenge for participating students to encourage creativity and interactivity. As a result, five new judging criteria were created which included The Best Team, The Best Booth Design, The Best Company Name, The Most Creative Idea, and The Best Marketing Plan.

The judging panel named the winners: Teen Trends Company, which scooped "The Best Team" award; Harai Station Company won "The Best Booth Design"; Prevent it Company received "The Best Company Name"; Future Angels Company won the "The Most Creative Idea" and Khalik Thouq Company was awarded with "The Best Marketing plan."

Hadeel Al-Fadhli, Manager at Gulf Bank's Marketing Department announced the competition's final results and congratulated the winners, awarding each team a 16 GB iPad.

Aly Shalaby, General Manager, Consumer Banking at Gulf Bank said; "We are very pleased to be able to support INJAZ Kuwait.  Our dedication to such initiatives is only a bridge to what the future holds for successful pioneers who will contribute to the flourishing future of Kuwait's economy and its coming generations."

Our ongoing support aims at strengthening leadership skills, boosting self-confidence and developing expertise that will make them future leaders in all sectors," added Shalaby.

The concluding ceremony was held Under the Patronage of Dr. Moudhi Al-Homoud, Minister of Education and Higher Education and included a note thanking the "Battle of the Best 2010" competition sponsors, in which Gulf Bank was a gold sponsor.  Nasser Al Daihani, Assistant Manager at Gulf Bank's Marketing Department represented the Bank and received a token of appreciation.

The Bank's continued sponsorship of Injaz Kuwait is part of its commitment to building a prosperous Kuwait; helping support young Kuwaitis develop professional business skills and giving them the opportunity to become successful entrepreneurs in the future.
