Kuwait " 24 June 2010: Gulf Bank has recently honored 46 top performing students from Ali Al Khaleefah Al Sabah Intermediary School.  Awards for each of the students were provided by the school at a special event in Al Oyoun Area, under the Patronage of Mr. Malouh Al-Herbi, the Mayor of Al Oyoun District on 7 June 2010.

Mr. Malouh Al-Herbi along with Mr. Mohammed Ghareeb Al-Enezi, the school Principal congratulated the students on their achievements and handed each of them a gift in recognition of their hard work.   Mr. Al- Enezi thanked Gulf Bank for its support and presented Mr. Jarrah Al-Mutairi, Gulf Bank's  Al-Oyoun Branch Manager  with a memento to mark his role in the event.

Fawzy Al-Thunayan, General Manager of Board Affairs at Gulf Bank, said: "Gulf Bank is very pleased to recognize Ali Al Khaleefah Al Sabah Intermediary School's top students. The Bank is a firm believer in supporting the community through such activities, believing that Kuwait's youth today will become the future leaders."

Following the event's proceedings, Gulf Bank also presented gifts to the parents to share with them their joy on this special day.

As part of Gulf Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility, the Bank is keen on continuously supporting education and other community activities that have a direct influence on the development of Kuwait's youth. Earlier this month, Gulf Bank was the exclusive sponsor for the Second Creators Forum for Al-Jahra educational district.
