Kuwait " April 15, 2010:  Gulf Bank recently sponsored the "Generation X" Event at the Movenpick Hotel (Free Trade Zone), an event aimed at promoting young entrepreneurs from the ages of sixteen and above.

Based on the Bank's belief in the development of Kuwaiti youth, sponsoring this event was an opportunity for the Bank to help the students materialize their dreams into reality. Students had the opportunity to set up their own booths in order to promote their products and materialize their ideas. A wide range of material was present at the event, including home baked cookies and cakes, accessories, magazines, scuba diving gear and other products.

The event began with a welcome speech by Mr. Ali Al-Rashid, Member of the National Assembly, whereby he visited each booth to congratulate the youth on their efforts. A number of young students performed a variety of dances as part of the day's entertainment.

A Gulf Bank booth was set up during the event to provide students with information on the Bank's products and services. The Bank also gave out Visa/Fifa and Gulf Bank Gift bags as well as free copies of its latest product, Visa Financial Soccer, an educational financial game for youth.

During the closing ceremony the Bank was awarded a memento as a token of appreciation.
