Gulf Bank Continues to Spread Financial Literacy in Kuwait

Kuwait " April 8, 2010: Gulf Bank has started off its Financial Football Campaign with a vast impact, shortly after the announcement of the launch of the branded interactive game. Gulf Bank has already begun distributing the game at a number of schools and events targeted at youth.

This free 2010 FIFA World CupTM branded video game, combining the world's most popular sport with an award-winning financial literacy curriculum, is aimed at educating people in the field of finance. The bank is the first to launch this game in Kuwait and also has this exciting, interactive game on the website.

Financial Football challenges players to answer fast-paced, multiple choice money management questions correctly to advance down the field for a chance to score a goal. The game offers single player and head-to-head game play options and is being translated into a dozen different languages.

The game features three difficulty levels " geared to children, teens and adults. Players learn key concepts about saving, spending, budgeting, and the wise use of credit. The game also includes companion classroom lesson modules for teachers who want to expand and reinforce greater financial learning.
