The event began with a kite show by the Al " Farisi special needs team, followed by the official opening by the Shabab Al-Khair Association with a speech by Sheikha Shaikha Al-Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah. There was a three-minute movie dedicated to Sheikha Sheikha Al-Sabah highlighting her achievements followed by speeches by the Souk Sharq Representative Jamal Al-Kishawi. And Hadeel Al-Fadhli, Associate External Communications Manager at Gulf Bank.

Entertainment at the event included face painting, hair braiding, henna and various other competitions and prizes. There was an entertainment show, which included performances by Fantasy World; the McDonald's cartoon character, Roland and a Taekwondo show by Abdulaziz Al-Shallal. In addition, actors Khalid Ameen and Ali Al-Buraichi were present as well as Husain Al-Musawi, Kuwait's famous football player. The children were also entertained by the Gulf Bank's famous cartoon character, Nassour.

Gulf Bank continues to support children with special needs throughout the year, reiterating the Bank's commitment to the wider community.
