Kuwait " 1 June 2009:  Gulf Bank's Blood Donation Campaign continues its visits across Kuwait with the most recent visit at Audailiyah Branch on 26th May as part of the Bank's ongoing commitment towards supporting the Kuwaiti society in every aspect of life.

Many Gulf Bank customers, employees and members of the public were present at the branch to donate blood and support this important corporate social responsibility initiative undertaken by Gulf Bank.

Working with the Central Blood Bank, Gulf Bank has arranged a series of weekly, public blood donation clinics at a number of branches, throughout the year. The road show started on 5th May at the Gulf Bank Head Office branch, Mubarak Al Kabeer Street followed by Fahad Al Salem branch, Al Nuzha branch and finally Audailiyah branch. The donation drive is open to all citizens, residents and visitors to Kuwait.

Donated blood is always needed to help those undergoing surgery or emergency medical treatment, and the blood donation campaign is credited with saving lives in Kuwait.  These units will not only accept blood donations, they will also do basic health check-ups including weight, BMI and blood pressure measurements.  Through this campaign, Gulf Bank hopes to encourage all healthy citizens and residents in Kuwait to donate to this vital resource, both now and in the future.

Gulf Bank's blood donation road show will continue during the month of June and will include:  Daiya branch on 2nd June, Shaab branch on 9th June, Jabriyah on 16th June, Hawalli on 23rd of June concluding with Al Fanar branch on 30th June.
