Kuwait 3 March 8, 2009: Gulf Bank of Kuwait has launched an appeal to encourage talented and dynamic Kuwaitis to apply for careers with the Bank.

Gulf Bank Chairman, Kutayba Alghanim, has instructed Gulf Bank's General Manager of Human Resources, Surour Alsamerai to take this step in response to the recent public appeals made by a number of private sector Kuwaiti workers to His Highness the Amir for support and protection in the light of the recent financial challenges.

Gulf Bank has a long track record of pro-actively recruiting local talent and has already employed 100 Kuwaiti nationals since January 2009.  Kutayba Algahanim has directed the Human Resources department to prioritize applications from Kuwaiti citizens in order to fill its current vacancies.

Surour Alsamerai has publicly urged all qualified and experienced Kuwaiti nationals to contact or visit its HR department directly in order to discuss the 150 remaining vacancies available at Gulf Bank.
