Kuwait " 03 July 2008:  Gulf Bank, in collaboration with the football training academy FCBEscola " Kuwait, will be offering 120 Nassour and Boom customers the experience of a lifetime to train with one of the world's most famous football clubs " Barcelona. This is the first time such an initiative has been conducted in the GCC.

The training program will run between October 2008 and May 2009, and the 120 youngsters will be selected in a draw exclusively for Nassour and Boom account holders.  Children aged between 6 and 13-years-old will have the chance to win a seat in the elite training academy and develop their football skills. Gulf Bank will pay the KD 100 registration fee for each winner. Parents will be offered to pay a discounted KD 60 monthly payment instead of the original KD 85.

For every KD 200 deposited or already existing in their Nassour or Boom accounts, the Bank's young customers will get 1 chance each in the draw. When the balance reaches KD 1000, 2 chances will be accrued for every KD 200.

Gulf Bank has organized The FCBEscola draw, as one of the many exclusive benefits provided to Nassour and Boom customers, to encourage young football fans to pursue their interests with one of the best programs available and the only one of its kind in the Gulf Region.

This is the second initiative that Gulf Bank has run involving the giants of Spanish football. A group of 18 talented youngsters from Gulf English School were given the chance to train with Real Madrid earlier this year.  The Bank also supports local sports activities, recently sponsoring a Volleyball and Tennis Tournament organized by the Hilton Resort, and the Filipino Badminton Tournament in Kuwait.
