Kuwait, 13 May 2008 " Gulf Bank has launched its new SMS Mobile Plus Service in its commitment to deliver the best and easy to use services to its customers. The new service offers a wide range of features that are exclusive to Gulf Bank as part of its continuing innovation to providing the fastest and most convenient responses to customer inquiries.

The new Mobile Plus is an all-inclusive service that offers a wide range of banking responses via SMS, allowing customers to gain instant replies upon their request that include information about their available balance, the last 5 transactions, checkbook request, fund transfers, credit card payment and changing an individual password.

"We are committed to delivering better and enhanced services for our customers, allowing them the flexibility when requesting any banking detail they wish to seek simply by using their mobile phone," said Mr. Nazem Alqana"e, Gulf Bank's GM-Retail Banking and GM-Support.

The new Mobile Plus service is an extended version of the existing Push service offered by Gulf Bank, expanded to respond to any inquiries customers might have, allowing it to become an all-encompassing service.  In support of the recent law, the Bank is encouraging its customers to restrict the use of mobile phones while driving, thus presenting them a 10% discount on all Bluetooth headsets at Fono, an offer lasting until the 30th of May 2008.
