Gulf Bank Sponsors "Lebanese in Kuwait" Off-road Day
Kuwait, March 24th, 2008: Gulf Bank has sponsored the "Lebanese in Kuwait" off-road day in Wafra as part of its ongoing commitment to local community interests. Members of the Lebanese population enjoyed the cool desert air and fun-filled family activities.
The full day of events started with the two hour 4x4 off-road adventure followed by a BBQ lunch, competitions and games. The family day had a few surprises for the children including a bouncy castle and a small petting zoo. Well-known Lebanese entertainer, Ghady, and his mesmerizing performances were the highlight of the night and brought the day to an enjoyable close.
The support for the "Lebanese in Kuwait" open day reflects Gulf Bank's commitment to the local community and its diverse interests. Gulf Bank has been an avid supporter for sports activities in Kuwait. The Bank has recently sponsored Gulf English School's football trip to Madrid, adding to the long list of support that includes Kuwait's champion fencing sisters Lulwa and Balsam Al Ayoub, the fourth Filipino Badminton Tournament in Kuwait as well as supporting Abdullah Al Bloushi, Gulf Bank's employee to succeed as a qualified international boxing referee.
