Kuwait, December 25, 2007: Gulf Bank renews its commitment to support local employment by actively participating in Kuwait's fourth annual Job Fair, a leading networking event bringing together private sector employers and potential job applicants.

The Job Fair will be held at the Al Rayya ballroom, adjacent to the Marriott Courtyard hotel in Sharq, from the 24th to the 28th of December 2007. Gulf Bank is participating in the workshop titled "Features of Working in the Private Sector - A Self-Experience" on December 25th " which will provide interactive experiences for potential new recruits.

"I am very proud of Gulf Bank's track record of having the highest percentage of nationals working within our bank compared to other banks in Kuwait.  We have recently exceeded the localization ratio of 58% and Gulf Bank has now many talented and experienced Kuwaitis in leading positions within the organisation," Alsamerai concluded.

Gulf Bank has had several recognised and acclaimed programmes supporting student development since 2000 which reinforce its ongoing support for young Kuwaitis. Gulf Bank supports Kuwaiti students through summer internship programmes as well as sponsorship of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students. Gulf Bank has also sponsored Injaz, a non-profit organization that teaches Kuwaiti students the fundamentals of business and economics and gives them the skills and confidence to be more successful when they move into the real world of business.
