Gulf Bank Announces New Branch Opening Hours
Kuwait, August 27, 2007: Gulf Bank has announced new opening hours for its 40 branches across Kuwait to offer an improved and more convenient service to its customers. The changes also reflect the change by the Government to a new official weekend of Friday and Saturday effective from 1 September 2007.
The changes mean that from 1 September, 31 of Gulf Bank's 40 branches will open from 8am to 1pm and from 5.30pm to 7:30pm every day except Thursdays when the branches will close at 1pm. The KOC, Ministries Complex, Mina Al Zour, Shuwaikh Port, Shuaiba, Sabhan and Sulaibiyah branches will open from 8am to 3pm and the Fahaheel 2 and Qurain branches will open from 9.30am to 12.30am and from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.
"We believe that these new opening hours reflect the demands of our customers across Kuwait and reflect their needs and requirements," Mr. Nazem Alqanae, Gulf Bank's General Manager, Retail Banking, said. "The changes are also being made to reflect the new official working week that comes into effect from 1 September."
Gulf Bank is Kuwait's second largest commercial bank and has one of the most extensive networks of local branches. Customers also have round-the-clock access to Gulf Bank's telebanking service on 805805 where staff are also available to speak to customers directly, and online banking at www.e-gulfbank.com, Gulf Bank's bilingual website.
