Gulf Bank Sponsors NUKS
Kuwait, November 28, 2006: Gulf Bank has signed a major sponsorship agreement with the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) U.S. Branch.
The sponsorship will assist NUKS organize events and social activities for Kuwaiti students in the United States. Gulf Bank was also a Gold Sponsor of the 23rd Annual NUKS Conference, USA, held in New York from the 23rd to the 26th of November, 2006.

"Gulf Bank's support will assist our work in organizing events and providing a network for Kuwaiti students in the U.S. Last year, NUKS organised more than 85 events in 41 cities and 32 States, and with Gulf Bank's contribution we can continue to expand our programme of events.

Attended by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the United States, Salem Abdullah Al-Sabah, the 23rd Annual NUKS Conference in New York included seminars, award presentations, sports activities, a graduates' job fair and the annual election of NUKS representatives.
Dr. Yousef Al-Awadi, Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Gulf Bank, attended the conference and spoke at the opening ceremony.
