Gulf Bank Partners with Pink Coffee

Kuwait – 2 December, 2014: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Gulf Bank signed a cooperation protocol with Pink Coffee to run a boot camp for its staff. In line with its commitment to develop the national manpower, the boot camp is designed to train Bank staff on the latest techniques required in the job market, and impart on them the necessary skills through highly-qualified training professionals in various fields.

On this occasion, Mrs. Salma Al-Hajjaj, General Manager of Human Resources at Gulf Bank, stated: "Gulf Bank places great importance on human resources development mainly with respect to the young national manpower in preparation for them to take on senior positions at the Bank through succession planning. The Boot Camp held in cooperation with Pink Coffee falls under the framework of the Gulf Bank Graduate Development Program which spans 9 months, and during which staff receive training on all aspects of banking business, as well as the opportunity to develop their personal and leadership skills. The Program wraps up with  four-week field training at a well known international bank."

Mrs. Eman Al Reshaid, Executive Manager at Pink Coffee, expressed her pleasure to be cooperating with Gulf Bank, one of the most renowned commercial banks in Kuwait, and for contributing to the preparation and training of Gulf Bank Staff on skills that are necessary for them to pursue their career. She confirmed that the training crew will exert its best efforts to support and establish a national manpower capable of pushing development forward and carrying out their tasks to their full potential.

Al-Reshaid stated that Pink Coffee has carefully selected a group of its best national trainers with an outstanding track record to participate in Gulf Bank's training program. These are namely Rana Al-Khaled, Yarub Bou-Rahmah, Shamlan Al-Bahar, and Mishari Al-Mefreh. She added that the program includes interactive and dynamic lectures that will surely enrich the experiences of the trainees.

Al-Reshaid once again expressed her appreciation to Gulf Bank's Management for its great confidence in the company and in the national manpower in particular, pointing out that the trainees' final project will be in April next year, commenting: "We hope this partnership will be the corner stone of a long-term relationship and the beginning of a fruitful cooperation serving our beloved Kuwait'.
